Travelling to, and in, Christchurch

No doubt about what's exciting in this town.
We had a great dinner in this former Anglican church.
Christchurch is very damaged from several earthquakes that have occurred since the  big one in September.  Here's an interesting way to keep a wall upright.
On the drive yesterday, we passed a few interesting things.  One was this church with a pretty nice view (no stained glass needed).
Another was a tribute to the working sheep dogs of the Canterbury (NZ) plain, "without whom the grazing of sheep on this land would have been impossible".
Some pretty ducks.
Some deer.
And a wedding party.
