The drive Thursday was short and very interesting. First we stopped at Huka Falls, said to be an "hors categorie" rapids, where if you kayak over it and live, you pay a huge fine.
For dinner and an evening performance, we went to a hangi, which is a Maori meal cooked in the ground and some native dancing and storytelling.
