Milford Sound

Yestreday we took a flight on a Britten-Norman Islander from Queenstown to Milford Sound (about 35 minutes).
We flew over Lake Wakapitu, Fiordland National Park, and many mountains and glaciers.
The view from across the lake with The Remarkables in the background.
The lake from above.
Everything looked remarkable to us.
Southwest coast line where Milford Sound meets the Tasman Sea.
Once we got to Milford Sound, we took a 2 hour boat trip out to the meeting of the Tasman Sea.
And saw at least a hundred waterfalls.
And some New Zealand Fur Seals.
We got back to Queenstown in time to ride the gondola and the luge track.
And take in the rugby tournament,
before having dinner at this restaurant. Lake Wakapitu is in the background.
