Giverny

In between the rain drops, we spent most of a day at Giverny.  Maybe because of the rain, there weren't many people there.
My most Monet-like picture.
Our favorite crêperie.
Some pre-schoolers painting the beautiful hillside of wild flowers.

All bundled up.
Gardens at the Musée Albert Kahn. This link has many more beautiful pictures of the gardens (it was raining when we were there - went for a photo exhibit of Mongolia, past and present).
I'll post pictures of Giverny next time.

Soccer French Style (Futbol)/Parc André Citroën

We were walking in the Park André Citroën and saw these little people playing soccer.  I took the picture from far away so you would really believe that there were NO parents near the sidlines.
I had to turn around and look behind me, across a sidewalk to find this very disinterested group of mothers.  How nice for the children and their coaches!
This ballon  was tethered, but goes up every day that is not too windy and measures the quality of the air.  It changes color, based on the air quality.  If the weather clears up, we may take a ride.
Cool office buildings adjacent to the park.

Paris Pictures

This one was taken from our bedroom window, looking down at the beautiful garden of a neighbor.
Last Sunday, we went to Longchamps (a race course), which had a windmill, of course.
Then we went to the Jardin D'Acclimatation (a children's park), with a different kind of riding
It's like a mery-go-round, but through the park.
The prettiest version of the spinnig-cup ride we've ever seen.
The Pompidou Center from another side.

Roland Garros

We spent last Thursday at Roland Garros.  Here are some images of the day.
No more balls.
Andy Murray - we did have good seats!
Joel Blanc painting at center court.
