Drive to the Fleurieu Penninsula

We're south of Adelaide now and had an interesting drive yesterday.  Not much to visit, so we amused ourselves with a couple of stops.  This "Herbig Family Tree" may not look like much, but it's so named, not because the Herbig's planted it, but because they lived in it for 5 years in the mid-1800s.
They did build some roof-like shelters, but still.  There were 2 children born in the tree (4 people in total).
A little farther on, we came to these things.
We seem to be following the flowering of jacranda trees.
This street was amazing (an east Adelaide suburb).
