Katherine Gorge (Water Level Corrected)

After our night in the "chalet", we took a 2-boat trip into the Katherine Gorge. This Agile Wallaby was watching us walk to the boat dock.  There's a little one inside, but the front paw obscures it.

This is what happens to trees when they get covered with 10 m of flowing water every year. They grow sideways.

Here's a picture of Katherine when the gorge had over 20.4 m of water in 1998.
