Las Vegas Trip

We drove to Las Vegas Thursday. On Friday, we went to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area about 15 miles west of Las Vegas.  It was pretty cool with  wild rock colorations - sometimes red on top

and sometimes red on the bottom

We also drove across Hoover Dam and thought it would be cool to take a dam tour. I can only picture Chevy Chase!  We should have toured on Thursday because there were TOOOOO many people there on Saturday. Oh well, it was fun to drive across anyway.

    we were at Hoover in august.it is quite the new bridge they are building.It was so hot, it felt like someone had a hair dryer in my face!!!
