Some Hiking Photos

I hiked around Breckenridge (Peak 8) on Wednesday.

 

 

And then to Rainbow Lake from Frisco on Thursday.

On Sunday, I hiked to Shrine Ridge to see wildflowers. There was a perfect flat rock here to enjoy a snack and some great views.

 

 

 



Late June in Colorado and Cape Cod

Just before we left for Tucson, Frisco had its annual barbecue and pig races.

 

We drove to Tucson through southwestern Colorado with stops at the Black Canyon of The Gunnison and Telluride.

 

Then to Cape Cod where Chris and Virginia's yard was blooming with children and growing things.

 

 

 

We just happened to be at the dock when some fish were being unloaded.

 

 

 

 



Lots of water almost everywhere

A Basin has reported over 440" of snow this past winter and all the Summit County mountains have received comparable amounts.  It has to melt and run off somewhere.

A feeder brook into the Snake at Keystone.

The only place there isn't water is in Keystone Lake where they are repairing the support structures.

 

 



Colorao Catch Up

We arrived in Colorado late in April.

Snow on Mother's Day, May 11.

Surgery May 13.

Out for a walk May 26 (Creeping Barberry).

Bike ride May 27 (oops).
