Lots of water almost everywhere

A Basin has reported over 440" of snow this past winter and all the Summit County mountains have received comparable amounts.  It has to melt and run off somewhere.

The Blue River in Breckenridge.
The Snake River in Keystone.
A feeder brook into the Snake at Keystone.
The only place there isn't water is in Keystone Lake where they are repairing the support structures.

Warning: Another Snake on the Blog

Just drove back to Tucson yesterday and took a walk in Sabino Canyon late in the afternoon.

Came across a Mojave Rattlesnake (the first Mojave I've ever seen).  You may have to enlarge to see it well, as I used my zoom from a distance.

Spring Vacation in Tucson for the Thomasons

Jil, Chance (a day latter) and the girls came to Tucson for spring break.  Everybody had a good time.

Chance and the girls and I went for a trail ride in Saguaro National Park East.

We spent a day at Biosphere2.
And some quiet time for Jil and Chance.
