More PEI

We have driven around about 1/3 of the island,  Here are some pics. We stopped at a farm stand for some lettuce and the owner went to pick it.
At one of the red sand beaches.
Befriended.
Lunch at the Chowder House.
The view from the deck.
A couple of  lighthouses.
Scariest license plate ever!
We had a lovely lobster dinner at Jim and Eileen Thorne's.  Jim is my cousin, Aunt Mildred and Uncle Jay's son. It's been about 35 years since we've seen each other.  It was great to see them and to talk about so many things and people from our past.  They live in an adorable house in Stanhope, PEI.  Can't wait to come back and see them again.

New Brunswick, Canada

We left Maine and entered Canada by way of Campobello Island, where we visited the Roosevelt International Park. Rather than go back through customs twice (into Maine and back out in 2 hours) we decided to go the 2-ferry route - Campobello to Deer Island and then a 1/2 hour drive to the other end of Deer Island for a ferry to mainland New Brunswick.

We spent the night in Moncton where there is a tidal bore on the Petitcodiac River.
