We took a 6 mile hike today (toward Breckenridge from Keystone and had a lovely view. The far off body of water is Dillon Reservoir.

The area had heavy pine beetle infestation and was being logged.  Pretty cool machines! 

Take a look at these videos (full screen is the best). Lifting, stripping, cutting, piling.

The stripping isn't as obvious as when there are green branches, but those trees all went behind the machine.

Our Trip to Keystone

Cactus is loaded and ready for the trip to Keystone.  She was a good traveler.

She thought the bed in Santa Fe was the best ever.

Here's our condo at Keystone.  It's in the Willows and we look right out on the lake. There's also a nice little outdoor patio.

A Great Day in Santa Barbara

Henry, Mae, Lucy and I had a great day at the zoo.  There was even sledding (Santa Barbara style).
