 I cheated - not from the yard. It's a Desert Mariposa Lily I found on the King Canyon Trail in the Tucson Mountains' section of Saguaro National Park.

Cape Cod Trip

Bart has been in Cape Cod for S.E.A meetings. He sent me some pictures to post.  That's Gus in the background.  Looks a little chilly for the beach.

Indian Canyons

This is the most amazing place - just 15 minutes from Palm Springs is an oasis park known as Indian Canyons.  We visited 2 of the canyons, Palm and Andreas - could have stayed all day. These pictures are good, but the sound of the water, the cool temperature, the canyon backdrop and the filtered light made it better than the pictures show.

Organ Pipe National Monument

We stopped at Organ Pipe National Monument yesterday on our drive to Santa Barbara. It was too much for pictures, but I did manage to take one good one of an organ pipe cactus.
